During this visit to our Manhattan office, Dr. Kosdon takes time to understand what you’re hoping to improve and any concerns or hesitations you may have. Many patients arrive unsure whether veneers are right for them, and that’s completely normal.
No treatment decisions are required during this visit. The goal is understanding and clarity. Some patients leave knowing they want to move forward. Others leave simply feeling more informed. Both outcomes are equally valid.
Smile Planning & Design

When cosmetic treatment is being considered, careful planning comes first.
Smile design is based on how teeth relate to the face, lips, and bite, not just how they look in isolation. Dr. Kosdon evaluates facial proportions, tooth anatomy, wear patterns, and functional relationships to determine what changes would feel natural and sustainable over time.

The Try Smile™ (When Appropriate)

Some patients want additional certainty before making a permanent decision. When appropriate, a Try Smile™ may be recommended.
The Try Smile™ experience allows patients to preview the proposed direction of their smile before committing to final porcelain veneers. This step can be especially helpful for those who feel unsure about the number of veneers or concerned about how changes may feel.
Not every patient needs a Try Smile™, and it is never required. It is offered as a tool for clarity, not as a step toward pressure.
Final Veneers
Precision follows confidence.
Final porcelain veneers are placed only once the plan feels clear and aligned. At this stage, materials and aesthetics have been thoughtfully selected. The focus is on comfort and natural integration with the surrounding teeth and facial features.
Because planning has been thorough, this step should feel calm and predictable, not rushed or uncertain.
