What are the benefits of porcelain dental veneers?
Porcelain dental veneers can improve an array of issues you may be having with the appearance of your teeth. Custom-designed to provide an accurate fit over only the visible portion of your tooth, porcelain veneers can mask stains, discolorations, chips, gaps, and even restore the appearance of misaligned teeth. They are designed to look like your natural teeth, and the results typically last for many years.
How do I know they will fit precisely and accurately?
Porcelain veneers are custom-made for each patient based on an impression created from your teeth at our office. This impression provides a map for the laboratory that will make your veneer, allowing for the most precise and accurate fit on the affected tooth. The veneer will be affixed to your tooth with an incredibly strong dental cement, able to hold it in place for years.
Dr Kosdon and his entire team are professional, caring and communicative. They work on weekends, making the longer appointments easier to schedule. I am thrilled with my veneers – they look natural and feel great!

How does the porcelain dental veneer process work?
The porcelain dental veneer process typically involves just two office visits. The first consists of your oral evaluation and the removal of a very small portion of the affected tooth (only if necessary) in order to best accommodate the veneer. A dental impression will then be made. Then, an expert ceramicist at an outside dental lab will create the veneer. On your second office visit, Dr. Kosdon will place the veneer on the affected tooth and color-match it to your surrounding teeth. The result? A beautiful, natural-looking treatment that can significantly improve the appearance of your teeth.
How long will they last?
It’s not uncommon for porcelain dental veneers to last for many, many years. In a lot of cases, they last decades!
