New York, NY – Dr. Michael Kosdon, a New York cosmetic dentist, recently completed an extreme smile makeover for a female patient at his cosmetic dentistry practice. After a three-step process and two office visits, Dr. Kosdon says this Westchester, NY patient has dramatically improved her appearance and regained the confidence she needed to show off her smile. “The patient was really unhappy and insecure about the appearance of her teeth. The treatment was administered in three stages over two office visits, as follows:
- Diagnostic wax-up: simulation of her new smile with temporary replacement teeth
- Preparation appointment: patient’s teeth are reshaped to make room for the veneers
- Smile Reveal: temporaries are removed, teeth are disinfected, and porcelain veneers are permanently cemented
Now that the patient’s procedure is complete, Dr. Kosdon says he is thoroughly pleased with the results. “This was an extreme makeover.
